New Race 2 and Sire Press Kit

Another gem from Greg Bowen, Ram magazine cover promoting New Race tour.

This is how the Soldiers of Rock & Roll audio documentary LP almost lokked like. The band was not happy at all and had it pulled. 40 copies snuck out and this is Gregs.

Bob King photo of Ron Asheton taken during the tour.

WEA Records promo poster for First and the Last LP.

Poster used to promote the New Race Tour.

Original WEA copy and Soldiers of Rock'N'Roll audio documentary.

1983 German copy on Line Records with white vinyl and a 1983 UK copy on Statik Records.

Two offerings from French Label Revenge Records (1989 and 1990) give us a better idea of how the gigs sounded with live vocals and no overdubs.

the drum

Hand painted Radio Birdman drum face by Warwick Gilbert. Though never used on stage it does make a delightful addition to ones home decor.

$2.50 and "Bring Your Own Grog!!"

This is the poster designed by Warwick Gilbert for the famous Paddington Town Hall gig, the only time they played with the Saints (who could suffer that twice). Those were the days when you could have a great night out for $2.50 and could bring your own piss!!
